Operations Manager at ISS Facility Services - Gothenburg

Do you want to take overall responsibility for the delivery at one of our largest customers in the public sector? ISS Facility Services is now looking for an engaged and business-minded Operations Manager with site responsibility for the Gothenburg area.

About the role

As an Operations Manager with site responsibility here, you play a central role in ensuring high-quality delivery to the customer. You work closely with the responsible manager (Service Manager) and serve as the natural point of contact for daily operations, actively working to create efficient working methods, high customer satisfaction, and a safe working environment.

You lead the team on-site and are responsible for coordinating and developing resources, processes, and deliveries across the different sites to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Lead and distribute daily work within the operations area
• Ensure delivery according to customer contracts and quality requirements
• Personnel responsibility for employees in the team
• Ensure high quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in the delivery
• Be the customer's primary contact person for operational issues and develop long-term customer relationships
• Actively work with working environment, safety, and continuous improvements
• Monitor key figures, deviations, and improvement measures
• Coordinate smaller projects, changes, and additional assignments within the area
• Ensure compliance with ISS processes, routines, and guidelines

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who

• Have upper secondary education or equivalent experience
• Have experience from Facility Management, service operations, or similar activities
• Have experience leading employees or coordinating teams in an operational environment
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Are accustomed to working in various IT systems and the Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in customer responsibility and contract-driven deliveries
• Experience in case management, reporting, and follow-up
• Experience in quotation work and upselling
• Experience in project or change management
• Experience from the public sector or security-classified operations

Scope: Full-time - permanent employment with a 6-month probation period

The assignment involves security-classified operations, which means that a security clearance with a subsequent background check will be conducted. Approved security clearance is a prerequisite for employment and continued work in the role.
